Nezumi, the beautiful elven girl who was new to the city of Aquile, stared out of the window in the wonderful house she was allowed to stay in, watching the rain fall in teardrops down from the heavens and into the fountains. The marble was dully sparkling from the clean, and it greatly complemented the shine of the water. "This place is amazing..." she muttered, looking on in awe. She had never seen a place like this, and she had traveled most of the world in a quick skim while on the lookout for a place she could belong. She wanted so badly to jump out into the rain and dance and sing to her heart's content, for she knew nobody she'd met so far in town would stop her, and heck, they might even join in! This place was truly enjoyable.

Blade looked out the window of the tavern he was staying at the rain letting some of the good memories drift through his mind. Trying to keep some of the worse ones from his coincous(sp?) thoughts. He made sure to keep the hood of his cloak low, same as he always did but for once he did not leave his hands on his daggar and sword.

Soon, the gentle patter of the rain drove her crazy and she nearly literally leaped down the stairs before she dashed out of the open front door, every step creating and sending more drops of water flying; and almost all of them landing on her. It didn't take long before she was completely soaked, though she didn't care one bit. "Yippee!!" she called slightly childishly into the sky, beginning to spin and giggle hysterically. "I'mma singing in the rain, singing in the rain! Ha ha!"

As Blade watched the rain he noticed a girl playing in the rain, which in this kingdom was not that uncommon but there was something about the elf that seemed different, almost divine about her he couldn't quite put his finger on it and it began to bother him as he tried to distract himself with the shapes in the clouds.

Coraline had been watching the rain from her cousin's porch. She was staying in Aquile for a little while with a relative, before exploring another place. Sometimes she never planned where she was going, she just let her heart take her to the next area.
She saw a girl dancing in the rain, and giggled. As she knew something about health, she knew that the cold and the wet of the rain can make you catch cold. But then again, as long as you have fun, and you aren't in it too long, you should be fine.
Deciding to take a breaking from total seriousness, and have some fun, Coraline stepped out into the rain, and started spinning around, her arms stretched out, palms facing upward. She realized she hadn't had fun like this in a long time.

Auran walked into the city, hood up and protecting his head from rain. He strode down the residential district to observe everyone. He kept up his cheery demeanor when he saw people having fun and living happily. He saw two elves playing in the rain and chuckled, deciding to join them. He ran over to the one near the porch and gently tapped her shoulder as he looked up at her. "Mind if I join in? Looks fun!"

Coraline felt a tap on her shoulder, and stopped her spinning. She looked down to see Auran. She gave him a smile, and nodded her had. "Join right it! It is a lot of fun! Do whatever you'd like." she took a couple steps away from him, to give some space, then did a cartwheel.

Auran chuckled and began to do a couple backflips, landing and then immediately starting to dance in the rain. His laughs of delight were loud and clear. He hadn't had fun like this since he left his lair, though he wouldn't be telling them that any time soon.

Coraline watched him dance in the rain, and smiled. She walked back over to him, and danced next to him, humming a tune, so as to keep a beat going. After a couple moments, she stopped humming just long enough to talk, and just kept the beat going in her head as she danced. "So, what's your name?" she asked Auran, her voice friendly. "I'm Coraline."

Auran chuckled and smiled. He held out his hand for her. "I'm Auran. Auran Goldeyes. It is nice to meet you Coraline." His eyes met hers and he observed her for her reaction, hoping to find a friend in her.

Coraline gently shook his hand, smiling a genuine friendly smile. "Nice to meet you too, Auran." she looked up at the sky. "I should head back inside soon, maybe in about five more minutes or so. Playing in the rain is a lot of fun, but only until you catch cold."

Blade noticed a second elven girl who was shortly joined by a short being whom looked like a halfling. He decided that he would go outside and see just how the rain was, but right before he put the hood of his cloak up he decided to leave it down and let the rain splash upon his head and face.

Auran saw a newcomer and instinctively stepped between him and Coraline. His hand drifted towards the haft of his scythe and his feet steadied themselves in a defensive fighting stance. All of this was as a precaution to the possible hostility of the stranger. He nodded to Coraline and smirked. "True, but now isn't the time to worry about that. We have a newcomer who has yet to state their intentions."

At noticing the short one's movements, Blade's hand slowly drifted toward the hilt of Draconia, merely as a defensive action, and slowly moved over to the elf and her new "protector." "Stand down little one," he said to the halfling "I mean no one any harm."

Coraline blinked at Auran's movements. She hadn't expected him to even think about protecting her, they only met a few minutes before. She moved so that she was beside Auran, and not behind him, then she looked Blade over, and gave him a smile. "Hi there. Joining in on the popular thing to do today?" she asked.
